What We Provide
We are happy to offer our patients two forms of teeth whitening at our local clinic. They are described in further detail below:
- Zoom Whitening
Zoom teeth whitening is an profesional teeth whitening treatment that takes approximately an hour to complete. Bleaching gel is spread across your smile, then a special light is used to trigger the chemicals in the gel and kickstart the whitening process. These steps are repeated several times.
Our team will work with you to identify the most complimentary shade of white for your smile. Results will differ for everyone, but on average, most patients can illuminate their teeth by 5-8 shades. - Take-Home Trays
As the name indicates, this method can be done in the comfort of your home. We will create customized molds that fit over your teeth, where you can administer a specific amount of whitening gel. Slip these trays once a day for a predetermined amount of time. You’ll be supplied with detailed instructions when you come in. Results will be noticeable after two weeks or so.
Regardless of how you enhance your smile, the effects of teeth whitening are not permanent. Eventually, you will need to have a touch-up.
Benefits of Teeth Whitening
There are multiple advantages to professional dental whitening, including, but not limited to, those below:
- Can address stains left by food, drinks, and tobacco products
- Reliable and safe results for all patients
- Cost-effective treatment – Zoom whitening costs $400, and our take-
- home trays cost $199.
- Completely pain-free
- Treatment only takes one hour
That said, we do not recommend this cosmetic service for pregnant women, patients under 14, or those with untreated cavities. Before coming in for care, it’s best if you book a dental exam and cleaning, to ensure that you’re a good candidate. If you’re dealing with enamel erosion, receding gums, or leaking fillings, alternative treatment solutions may be advised.

FAQ's
1. How long does a teeth-whitening procedure take?
A professional teeth-whitening treatment will last between 30 and 60 minutes. Some individual treatments require more than one visit to achieve the optimal outcome. Expect a few weeks from at-home whitening kits.
2. How long will the results of teeth whitening last?
Depends on diet and oral hygiene; the results will be several months to a few years. Foods and beverages that cause staining are avoided to preserve the brightness of the teeth. It could need touch-ups every so often to keep it white.
3. Does teeth whitening hurt or cause sensitivity?
Temporary tooth sensitivity in some individuals occurs following whitening. This will pass after a couple of days. Dentists may recommend desensitizing toothpaste if needed.
4. Are the results of professional whitening better than over-the-counter products?
Yes, it is more dramatic and faster with professional whitening. In-office treatments use higher concentrations of whitening products and custom applications for even whitening. Over-the-counter methods take longer and are not necessarily as effective.
5. Are there risks or side effects of teeth whitening?
Some of the side effects of bleaching are mild gum inflammation and temporary teeth sensitivity. Enamel softening is also possible if very strong bleaching agents are used repeatedly. Professional intervention is a safe and very effective way of treatment.
6. How many shades whiter can I expect my teeth to become?
Professional teeth whitening can whiten teeth by 3 to 8 shades. Outcomes vary depending on initial colour and form of treatment. Your dentist can help with creating realistic expectations.
